Shapes and colour come with an open-ended take on learning and play. The kit comes with an activity book where children get to write their own story and improve their reading writing and spelling as well as their cognitive skills. The kit also comes with a unique poster. Each set comes with a different lid and unique poster. The poster has no end so if enough are collected they can be put together like wall paper. The kit also comes with a modular set of toys. The toys are made out of 3mm ply wood and are cut into different shapes. These shapes are coloured with compli- mentary colours on either side. The whole set is eco-friendly from its production method to the materials that are being used. The stool is made from sustainably sourced Pine from Europe. The fast growing, replaceabel soft wood helps counteract the products carbon footprint as the wood comes from a managed forest. The lightweight wood and design means more shipments can be transported at once cutting down on overall trips, using less fuel cutting down even further on the products carbon footprint.&nbsp; Shapes from the design have been used to construct a Modular Typeface.&nbsp; The Instruction manual can be found online to save on printing and paper. Play is a vital method that can be used in design as it helps people feel more confident, comfortable and ambitious about their work. Play allows designers to tackle tough subject matter and helps prepare people for an evolving planet. Play also serves a purpose in how it can bring people together and share a common emotion. Playful Prompts is an Instagram page with the aim of helping creatives. Weekly promts inspired by a range of creatives. The goal is to act as a set of prompt cards that creatives can come to when they are either stuck with an idea or need somewhere to start from. Each prompt is numbered in the bio of the post with the week number it was posted. This allows people to return to the prompts and use a random number generator to decide their prompt if they wanted to. It gives us a sense of our personality and helps gives us clarity and understanding about our life. These portraits aim on capturing my self image with the use of humour and to remind myself to play and have fun when I can and not to be caught up with the idea of the “perfect self image”. Self image boils down to how much we believe in ourselves and in our self-worth. If you hesitate to do things because of what others might think or have thoughts about yourself that you continually want to change, you may have issues when it comes to a healthy self-image. So remember to reflect and check in with how you perceive yourself.
